yesterday when we were about to leave the house, the car just won't stop. but what's worse is that the car wasn't parked in the garage, it was outside, drenched in the heat. that is why it was something the husband regretted. he has to fixed the engine thus having himself dirty with oil and dust from under the hood. you see, having a garage is something really important, not only for the car but for the people who are using the area. and having a well organized garage with clean and slip proof garage and basement floor is one of the things also to consider.

Was finally able to try and shop at the newly opened supermarket near our place earlier this evening. And as expected, their prices are quite cheaper compare to other major supermarkets and groceries, specially the black & mild prices are way too low that's why small store businesses prefer buying in bulk there. Plus the fact that they have complete range of everything even accessories, clothing and appliances too! speaking of business and the plan to start one, have i mention before that i have a childhood friend that is now into trucking business? well if i wasn't able to say that before let me write about that now. oh where am in? yeah, trucking business, and when i say trucking it means the big and fab ten wheeler trucks that are being used in the logistic company wherein it hauls those long and gigantic container vans for imports or exports that are being send out to piers and ports of the country. yes, my friend is now considered one of the big time people here in our area! having more or less ten trucks available for lease or rent to different logistics and courier companies in the export processing zones. but of course my friend told us that its not always a lucky day for them, especially when their unit had an emergency engine trouble, you see having big engine requires specialized tools and even mechanics for that, not only the labor and the difficulty to repair but the materials and parts are the one that can cause them big hefty slash of money. what more if something bad happened to the unit itself like for example accidents among many others, that is why they decided to get an insurance for whatever trur or motorhome repair for every unit of truck they have. just to make sure and keep them in sane state. having one is such an ease especially if big amount of money are at stake. it's like making sure everything will fall into its proper places when something unwanted happens.

How to measure for an internal door

It is important to measure the doorway in which a new internal door will be fitted accurately. There is a vast range of different internal door sizes available catering to a variety of different heights and widths of doorways. It is common for a doorway to be an irregular size so if your doorway does not correlate to a standard size of internal door then do not worry this does not necessarily mean that you have measured it wrong. It is often the case that internal doors have to be adjusted slightly to fit the particular doorway that it must go into and this is particularly the case in older properties where the building may have moved slightly or due to old building techniques the doorways may not be totally square. If a lot of customisation needs to be done then a solid internal door would be preferable as the door can be re-shaped as required whereas an engineered internal door only has a very thin outer veneer and so not much can be taken off the door without revealing the unsightly inner core.

In order to measure up for an internal door you first of all need to remove the old internal door as well as the old door jamb and casing. You can then measure the space left for your new internal door. First of all measure the width from side to side and make sure that you do not just do this in one spot – either run your tape measure from the top of the doorway to the bottom or take measurements from at least three different places along the height of the doorway (preferably the top, middle and bottom) in order to check whether the width of your doorway is even and hence whether your new internal door will need any adjustment in its shape. Then measure the height of the doorway from the floor to the top of the doorway. Again take a few measurements to check whether or not the height is the same across the full width of the doorway. Once again this will tell you whether or not your new internal door will need to have any adjustments made to it.

The best way to measure for an internal door is using a tape measure and preferably one of the self- retracting ones so that it will remain taut and you will get a more accurate measurement than if you use a plastic tape measure. You can use either imperial or metric figures when measuring for an internal door but it is best to take a note of both values as the unit of measurement used will vary between companies and manufacturers.

When looking for internal doors, if you cannot find one that exactly matches the measurements that you require it is best to choose one that is slightly larger rather than smaller. If you buy an internal door that is too small then it simply won’t fill the doorway properly and will lead to an unsatisfactory end result. If you buy an internal door which is slightly too big then adjustments can be made to make the door fit the size and shape of your doorway. Although this may sound like a daunting task for the average homeowner it is easily accomplished by a trained carpenter and will leave you with a
great looking, professional finish.

A friend actually is the one who suggested the idea for people who sees my card can have an instant idea on what I do, snaps emotions not just the regular pose and shoot capture. Disney Princess Addiction

After being so into Dora the Explorer, my daughter moves on to her next favored characters… Disney Princesses! It all started when she saw her classmate’s princesses stuff and at that instant, she was converted! She even asked for a Belle designed cash register toy that is complete with barcode scanners! Unfortunately, we can’t give her that anymore as she already has two cash registers which she rarely play. Aside from that, she’s also asking for a Princess bike that she saw online while I browse the Walmart site! The husband and I have so many different likes and dislikes, but if there is one thing that we always enjoy doing while watching a movie is munching on popcorns! Be it plain, salted or the fancy flavored popcorn – definitely a blockbuster treat! And yes, even out daughter who is well known to picky eat surprisingly love eating and her tv time at night wouldn’t be complete without a bowl-full of buttered popcorns!

Anyways, speaking of pop corn, I was thinking if we can get our own popcorn machine to simply enjoy the best movie-house-like popcorn at home. Our First Family Christmas Tree

Last week, the husband and I were finally able to put up our first ever Christmas tree! My friends and I are all getting so excited with our online exchange gift, in fact, most of us were able to post their wish lists already! Of course, I’ve done my part too as early as last week… but the thing is, if only my mommy can accommodate some changes, I would love to receive a nice watch case just like the one on the photo aside of course from my futon cover request and some gift certificates from my favorite coffee shop… I just hope that I’m not too late for the revision of request :D

I have been talking a lot about homes and houses plans for dream houses for quite some time now, it is actually my mind set for this year. Well not that we are already planning of building our dream house before the year ends, because honestly, we doesn't have the big savings for that, yet. But what we are thinking now is how we can strive harder to meet our goal the soonest. But for now, aside from reading magazines that features celebrity homes and properties, I also find time to read the latest buzz from the famous cabin plans from houseplansandmore.com , the most favored and well known builders of custom homes all over the US. You see, I heard that it is better to know a lot about house and home before actually getting into action, just like what my father did some eight years ago, before he finally decided to start with the our house building, he reads a lot of books and researches on so many things like home plan of house that has something to do with house building and designing. And as to what I heard from my mom, dad is again thinking of having another set of apartment or a small cabin/retirement house in one of our family’s vacant lot once he decided to pursue his retirement years.
